Tour program day by day

Day 1 | Airport – Bishkek

Arrival to Manas Airport in Bishkek where our team will pick up you and drive you to hotel situated in the capital. You can have a rest in cozy and comfortable rooms after the flight.
After breakfast in hotel, we start our city tour. We will visit the heart of the city, Ala-Too Square where the State Historical Museum is located. After the tour in the museum, we can enjoy a walk in the Oak Park, one of the favorite places of local people. Bishkek is known as the greenest city in Central Asia thanks to its countless parks and alleys making the city a great place to live.
After lunch, we will have time to visit the local market Osh bazar. Here you can appreciate the creativity and talent of local artisans. Just as you step the market, you plunge into the real oriental atmosphere: an interminable stream of people, a big variety of goods and colors.
In the evening, we go to one of the best restaurants in Bishkek where you can taste delicious Kyrgyz national dishes.

Day 2 | Bishkek – Burana – Chon Kemin

After breakfast in Bishkek, we go towards Burana Tower located about 80 km from the capital. Burana Tower is an ancient minaret in the Chuy Valley in the north part of Kyrgyzstan. It is close to the city of Tokmok. The tower with funerary monuments, earthworks, remains of the castle and three mausoleums – that’s all what last out of the ancient Balasagyn town that was founded by Karakhanids at the end of the ninth century.

After we keep our way towards Chon Kemin gorge. It is unique place thanks to its unbelievable beauty and its rich diversity of fauna and flora. You will have the opportunity to walk in the gorge and enjoy the beautiful alpine views.

Day 3 | Chon Kemin – Kalmak Ashuu (Trekking)

After breakfast in the guest house you start the trek with the local English speaking guide.

We head towards the pastures of Akkytay, around noon we will climb to the point where we will have a panoramic view of the entire valley.

We have a picnic there. After lunch we continue our trek. We go to the Kalmak Ashuu pass.

We install the tents in the evening. Dinner around the fire and rest.

Day 4 | Kalmak Ashuu – Balykchy – Bokombaevo (Trekking)

Today we go down towards Issyk Kul Lake – the pearl of Kyrgyzstan.
Picnic on the road. At around 15 hours we reach the point where our trek ends. We are already in the region of Issyk Kul. Your driver picks you up.

Your guide returns to Chon Kemin. And you go to the guest house where you rest and take a shower. You can swim in the lake later and rest a bit on the beach.

Issyk Kul Lake is the main attraction and beauty of Kyrgyzstan. On the way we will have the opportunity to swim in the lake, sunbathe on the beach and make beautiful pictures.
In Bokombaevo you will meet the eagle hunter with his bird of prey (option).

Day 5 | Bokombaevo – Skazka – Son Kul

Today we keep our road to Son Kul Lake.

But before, we visit Skazka canyons, which signify Fairytale. Here you can find objects of surprising shapes and sizes. A real skyscraper or an animal may appear in front of you.
Then we should overcome a mountain pass called Kalmak Ashuu. From the pass, Son Kul Lake seems very small, but as we go down and approach the lake, it appears as a big and gorgeous lake.

When we arrive in the yurt camp, you get to know the hospitality of the nomads, their lifestyle and their customs. We will have a dinner with the nomads and sleep in the yurts.

Day 6 | Son Kul

A free day in Son Kul.
You can meet the locals and learn what life as a nomad means. Learn how ancient people still preserve their traditions, customs and culture. Here you will meet the modern nomads who have not changed their lifestyle for centuries.

Day 7 | Son Kul – Tash Rabat

The goal of the day is to reach the caravanserai Tash Rabat, so we should overcome a mountain pass called Moldo Ashuu.
Tash Rabat is a historical monument founded by monks in the 10th century. During the Silk Road history, Tash Rabat has lost its religious significance and the main function of the monastery was providing a stay for caravans and travelers.

Day 8 | Tash Rabat – Kochkor

Breakfast in the yurt camp. Departure.
We continue our journey towards Kochkor village.
In Kochkor, the Kyrgyz women show you the producing of the felt, which is used in making the different handicrafts (option).
We will listen to the national music and folk instruments (option).

Day 9 | Kochkor – Bishkek

The road to Bishkek passes through Boom gorge. You can take pictures of this beauty and breathtaking sceneries.

After lunch in local restaurant, we will have time to visit the local markets and buy some presents. You will not leave the bazar unsatisfied; you will surely find something that you were looking for reminding you about Kyrgyzstan and your unforgettable trip here.

Day 10 | Bishkek – Airport

Transfer to airport. Departure.
